    Experienced Rider E-Bike Tour

E-MOUNTAIN BIKES - EXPERIENCED

For riders who mountain bike frequently, we offer a more challenging experienced-level tour that features a faster pace and more technical ride throughout varied terrain including steeper sections, dirt trails, and single-track. You’ll cover ~9.5 miles of trails, jungle, and ridges, with photo ops and views along the way. We’ll have your bike adjusted for you, and begin with a safety assessment and short practice ride before starting the tour. During the safety assessment you will be evaluated on the following abilities: braking, climbing, descending, cornering, steering, and overall control. This is a rigorous course, and if you are unsure of your ability or those in your party, please select the novice tour.

 

IMPORTANT TO NOTE:

  • MUD HAPPENS! Tours go out rain or shine, so we recommend checking the weather and bringing a change of clothes in case conditions are wet, muddy, or dusty.
  • All riders are required to successfully pass our test course, demonstrating the skills to competently ride an e-mountain bike on the varied terrain. If you are unable to demonstrate the ability to safely ride, you may be cancelled and offered a replacement tour subject to availability. No refund will be offered.
  • Basic safety standards that our tour guides look for: Ability to steer and handle varied terrain (turning and cornering without going off trail/track), shift gears (down shift, up shift, control while shifting and riding), brake (controlled use of both brakes, no skidding, no sudden braking), and overall control (balance, control of pedals, trail debris avoidance, pace) etc.
  • Minimum age is 10 years old.
  • Closed-toe shoes required.
  • Height & weight requirements per ebike manufacturer guidelines:
    • Height: between 4’9” – 6’5” (144cm – 195cm)
    • Weight: between 85 – 250 pounds (38kg – 113kg)
  • One rider per bike. Helmets are provided.
  • Guests with back problems or other health concerns and expecting mothers are not advised to participate in this tour.
  • 2-hour tour time includes training and safety briefing.

  • Great tour all around! We originally wanted to go on the raptor tour because we had multiple friends recommend it. Unfortunately, we waited too long and those tours were sold out by the time we booked. Still wanting to see the ranch, we decided to go with the e bike tour and couldn’t have been more happy with our “back up option.”The e bikes give you more freedom throughout the tour and are a perfect way to see the ranch!   • It was a terrific adventure for me and my family to do the E bike tour. I would totally recommend this for families! The E bike has several levels of superpower that kick in with a button. It’s a $9000 bike that you get to ride up and down the hills catching a cool breeze. I felt like exercise for sure. … But not too much exertion. Just the right amount It’s really exhilarating. I felt like I was going up to 20 or 25 mph. Our guide toured us around the trees, cliffs, movie scenes, baby pigs, we saw a mongoose, we saw all these cows, beautiful scenery and took some great photos. In the past my husband and I had done the horse tour. Which was great for adults, but it was also kinda distracting that I was thinking about riding a horse instead of enjoying the scenery. Tip your tour guide!

  • Incredible place with so many options for everyone. My boyfriend and I (mid-twenties) did the 2-hour e-bike tour and really enjoyed it. Going through jungle and valley, at any pace you want and getting some time to take pictures of the amazing views along the way. Even got funny pics with a dinosaur thanks to our guide! Thank you for this experience in the Jurassic Valley!

  • I highly recommend you do the electric bike tour. The staff is absolutely amazing and very knowledgeable of the land. This ranch has a lot of history behind it, as well as one of the number destinations for filming island movies. i.e. Jurassic Park, 50 First Dates, Jumanji – just to name a few. Tips: Be sure you come hydrated and bring water and sunscreen. You’re touring the land for close to 2 hours.

  • We did the ebike tour today and we had lots of fun with Jay and Brady as our tour guides. They took lots of pictures of us and were very knowledgeable. The bikes were easy to use and the tour spots that we stopped at were really neat. I’d definitely recommend this tour to people who like to ride bikes and who want to learn about Kualoa Ranch history and movie trivia!
